About PSN 2019:
The 4th edition of the Polish Scientific Networks conference entitled Science&Technology was devoted to modern technology and innovations in various aspects, ranging from social to natural sciences. The recent scientific achievements were presented by renowned scientists from Poland and other countries in six areas: energy, new materials, information technologies, health care, social media, and big scientific facilities. The aim of this conference was also to create a forum where researchers can exchange their experiences on innovative solutions and build a bridge between scientists from different areas, which will help to introduce interdisciplinary solutions in novel technologies. At the same time, discussion panels were held on current and important aspects of the implementation of novel applications, including the opportunities and threats that they bring with them.
The conference took place on September 19-21, 2019 in the Conference Centre at the Poznan University of Technology, Poland. Keynote and invited lecturers were scientists representing the top level of research in various disciplines. The opening lectures was presented by Professor Robert J. Cava (Princeton University), who is an outstanding researcher in the field of solid-state chemistry and unquestionable expert in the synthesis of new inorganic materials.
