The Lower Silesia region<\/strong>, whose capital city is Wroc\u0142aw, where our conference will take place, has some incredibly interesting attractions – both natural and anthropogenic. The long and rich history of settlements, which stimulates the imagination of seekers of old traces of human activity, as well as the diversity of landscape (from mountains to plains), make every visitor finally understand why our motto is “Mysterious Lower Silesia”.<\/div>\n

In order to make it as easy as possible for you to visit the most important attractions of our region, we present a short list in which (we hope) everyone will find something for themselves.<\/div>\n

  2. Karkonosze National Park<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Stolowe Mountains National Park<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. The \u015al\u0119\u017ca\u0144ski Landscape Park located near Wroc\u0142aw with its towering nunatak – the \u015al\u0119\u017ca peak – and traces of settlement by Slavic tribes<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. The Barycz Valley Landscape Park is the historical border between the Wielkopolska and Silesia regions. Over the centuries a very large complex of breeding ponds was created here, located in the area of natural floodplain of the Barycz River.<\/a><\/li>\n
  6. Z\u0105bkowice \u015al\u0105skie – Anyone who would like to see where Frankenstein was born should definitely visit Z\u0105bkowice \u015al\u0105skie!<\/a><\/li>\n
  7. Bear Cave – The cave in Kletno (the \u015anie\u017cnik Massif) with amazing karst formations<\/a><\/li>\n
  8. Castle Ksi\u0105\u017c – one of the biggest castles in Poland with a rich history and a beautiful landscape park<\/a><\/li>\n
  9. Czocha Castle – located on the Le\u015bnia\u0144ski Lake, it surprises with its mysteries and ingenuity of the previous owners<\/a><\/li>\n
  10. Ostr\u00f3w Tumski<\/a><\/li>\n
  11. Hydropolis as the answer to all water-related questions<\/a><\/li>\n
  12. Panorama of the Battle of Rac\u0142awice<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
